Some louvers will be too deep or too shallow to attach securely. Very convenient if it fits. Be sure that you have clearance above. It does not work on my Volvo 240.Depending on your vent louvers, it may not be stable enough. I would not drive with something large in it.It puts some stress on the louvers, so use on older, brittle plastic louvers may leave your latte in your lap.
It is a handy holder for my older BMW, but it is a challenge to mount. Velcro has messy glue backing and screws create holes. The included mounts fasten onto the AC vent louvers, which break too easily.
It looks good but is pretty small and only holds thin water bottles and I coldn't attach it to my air vents because when you put a water bottle in it it then blocks the vent. It does hold my cell phone though. I'm now looking for another one :(.
I put 24oz drinks in this on a regular basis. Both the drink holder and the airvent are holding up just fine. No tipping or spilling and easy to use.
This cup holder worked really well in our car. It clipped easily to the a/c vent- we use it all the time:)
